For the first time in my life- I cooked Thanksgiving dinner on my own for the family.

Fresh Turkey- 22 lbs. Cooked in a roaster, so tender it fell apart when I removed it from the oven. It was so tender. Mmmmm.

Roasted brussel sprouts with garlic and parmesan cheese.

Fresh mashed tatters, with cream and butter.

Yeast rolls.

Devil eggs.

Our mother's home made cornbread stuffing with celery and onions. Mmmmm... this stuff never goes to waste.

Cranberry sauce.

Giblet gravy. Never made this before but seems it came out fine since everyone had two plates of food. :)

Dessert? Well those I did not make but we had....

Cherry Pie, Pecan pie, Apple pie, banana bread, and a pineapple upside down pie. Yeap, never head of it either but it was good I am told. I was too full for dessert myself. :)

Did the prep, cooked, cleaned up the dishes, pots pans and roaster all by myself. Never did it on my own and was nervous about it. But like I said- two plates each so seems everyone was happy. :)

Now- sitting on my butt in my recliner, feet up, going to bed early.

You got to love a member *Kuroku* who can forgive a stupid mistake and not get all bent out of shape when I am half asleep, trying to check the site, do my job here and screw it up.

I love about 99.9 percent of the members here. When they care enough to take the time to report a issue- you help if you can.

I wouldn't log in every night to see what is going on, help out if it wasn't for these members.

Yes- the site has it's drama days/ nights. But then it also has it's nice, calm, friendly times.

Love or hate it- VR is in my blood. It is family now.

We're only human even though some like to think they're actually vampires. It was a simple slip-up, though it gave me a laugh at the end of a frustrating work day.

Yep, same guy. KurokuTsubasa= BlackenedWings but in Romaji. Who said you can't use the same name twice? lol

Been thinking about Thanksgiving.

Family will be together, which is always the most important part of this time.

And counting my blessings, the 2nd most important part to me of the holiday.

And there are many.

Going onto 7th month of closing the family business down. Still working on the estate of my parents but we are so blessed.

And thankful for parents that worked to see we had a good life, giving up the up bringing that made us who we are today.

Each day I learn newer respect for them, understanding all they did for us. And supporting us by teaching.

Blessing- counts your this years.

Loved! Just got done watching all 6 shows. And they ended it on a great cliff hanger.

Really really hope they do a season 2.

Car is in the shop. Seems to be several things going wrong at once but it has been needing work for a few months now.

Hope to have it out in the morning, or at least at some point.
